Sudden, feeble laughter burst from the young alien, who closed his eyes in a mirthful smile and curled in on himself; no doubt while the amusement was a welcome change, the laughter itself made him severely uncomfortable.

Bewildered, Leo and Raph looked at Mikey, at the alien, and back again. Then they both stared at Donatello helplessly, looking for an explanation.

Donatello stepped forward soundlessly. When it became obvious that Seikor didn’t know he was there, Donnie cleared his throat.

“Seikor.”

The ex-Commander’s remaining eye blinked open and focused on the turtle’s heated glare. His expression settled into one of calm, and his face crinkled up in a gentle eye-smile. 

< I had hoped to see you one last time, useless pet. >

Kinra Shiksa had an arm outstretched. In his grip was a strange device that seemed to be a cross somewhere between a firearm and a dart gun. The tranquilizer gun shook violently as he stepped past the stunned crew, still holding Nollpak Ozinfa firmly in his other arm.
