It's ironic to me that so many musical theatre fans like to shit on musicials like Starlight Express and Cats and SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical, etc, and call them "cringey" or stupid when all of the people who dislike musicials in general think they're all "cringey" and stupid.
And y'all are trying to be elitists? It's giving Pick Me energy.
Just because a musical or play “didn’t make it big” on Broadway (whatever that means 🙄, it’s different to everyone) doesn’t mean that it’s a “flop,” and it most certainly doesn’t mean that it’s a bad show. Broadway is not the only thing that matters in theatre.
And so it begins! The cast have completed their first week of rehearsals!
