Who's at the door? It's Michael Bell!
Later morning, while Marie is brainstorming recipes at her table, a knock at the door interrupts her. She's surprised to see a familiar face on the other side of the glass. Inviting him in, Marie quickly clears her table so they can chat. Nearly a hour later, Michael stands and offers her a gift, a neighborly gift!
Honored by the gift, Marie mentions the quality of the gift, and notes the thought put into it. Michael, flustered, brushes the compliment off but the smile on his face grows. A heat grows on Marie's face, and before she can second guess herself offers him her number. As the Creature Keeper cradles the phone in his hands, Marie has to look away to hide how big her smile is.
(I didn't plan this btw, the game sent Michael to my house, I had to pause my game when i saw him at the door an write out an ENTIRE plot in google docs before i invited him lol, I know how this chapter ends)
