I’m catching up on stuff in my drafts. lol

1. Character in my fandoms that I think l'm most like.

I relate to the characters who support the heroes but don't do any of the fighting. So I think I'm the most like Alfred Pennyworth, MCU Aunt May, Mon Mothma from Star Wars/Andor, and tfp Ratchet. ("I needed that!" sounds very much like something I would say.)

As for irl if I were to date them Hardworker: A person who is willing to work long, hard hours for the betterment of themselves. (It's an archtype I checked.) But just in reading, the Caretaker is my favorite.

4. Sooo much. I got on tumblr, started buying comics, started writing fanfic, the list goes on.

Honestly, I think he's pretty well understood.

The time he spent at Shockwave's school were some of the happiest days of his life. He was planning on finding out what happened to all his old classmates, but Chromedome talked him out of it.

Nautica. Need I say more?

Getaway. Getaway claimed they were close if I remember closely. I want to see Skids trying to rekindle that closeness he'd forgotten. I want it to hurt when he can't manage to rebuild that friendship and is later betrayed.

I do not know how he became my blorbo, but he did.

He's got such a big heart. Despite everything, there is so much room in him for love, and he just wishes people would stay. He is a protector.

He's still nuts. Healthy people do not threaten to kill their hostages and then just go back to normal. My mech has anger issues he needs to address.

Hehe. I have the headcanon my boy is secretly a baby Titan. Someday he's going to turn into a big city, but for now, he could turn into about a city block. He doesn't know that though.

Red Alert. Two messed up guys trying to figure out their mental health who need friends who won't up and leave them.

one character i wish they would interact with/interact with more

I wish we could have seen him interact with Ravage, especially after his work with the Roboids. Fort was still struggling with respecting boundaries and showing affection, and I think Ravage could have helped him figure it out. I think Ravage would have understood that Fort was coming from a place of respect and helped him grow.

Not a drop of toxic masculinity in him. He wears his spark on his sleeve and loves what he loves. Love that for him.

He is competent, frag it! He and all the Rescue Bots were professionals on Cybertron and on Earth. They're not younglings or someone to be coddled. Blades is a medic and a capable one. His meekness is not weakness.

He plays matchmaker all the time, trying to set people up on dates and stuff like that. He's a bit nosy like that.

Bumblebee. The fanboy and friend come out, and Blades is a stand-in for many fans. Who wouldn't want to be friends with Bumblebee?

I wish we could have seen him work with Ratchet. Really work with him as a professional and a respected peer.

You must understand I have only consumed IDW through osmosis so interactions are a bit tough, but I am happy to tackle the challenge. Let's go!

Rung just wants to help people. He's a terrible psychologist (mostly because I think the writers didn't do their research) but a great friend. He cares deeply.

one aspect I wish more people understood about them

Rung should not be a psychologist. I love him to death, and he is one of the kindest characters I know, but not being friends with your patients while they are your patients is really important. And Rung can't keep himself from being a friend first.

(Also, I have learned from people who did seek professional help for paranoia that how he treated Red Alert during their sessions in the comics was Not Good. Again, I blame the writers.)

one (or more) headcanon(s) i have about this character

I headcanon Rung is quietly religious. He believed in the God of Primus and so his worship was not much different than that of most Cybertronians. Had he lived, he would not have wanted the faith of so many shattered, cultures and ways of life destroyed. He would have gently redirected those who worshipped him to worship his God.

He would also be very against anyone pressuring anybody to believe or not believe. People should be free to worship how and what they may or not worship at all.

one character i love seeing them interact with

Fortress Maximus. The way he saw that Fort was suffering and forgave him just gives me such warm fuzzies.

one character i wish they would interact with/interact with more

Nautica. I know they're Amica Endura, but I haven't had the chance to see them interact much.
