lowest rated song: superman 4/10
i enjoyed listening to the standard version so much but the vault songs are just a bit meh to me ngl! they lower the ranking quite a bit. either way, i this is the rock album everyone is yearning for btw. it’s filled with bangers and even if it rambles a little bit at some points it doesn’t feel too long. loved it!! i kinda wish it had a higher ranking lmao

highest rated song: out of the woods, wildest dreams and is it over now? 9,3/10
lowest rated song: bad blood 3/10
i'm gonna be listening to the tvs from now on! wow, i didn't expect liking this album so much! it's much higher in my rankings than i expected. it's just a really good pop album, with a surprising low amount of filler songs. the highs are very high, and this album dominated pop culture for such a long time that, to me, it encapsulates the mid 2010s. as far as the taylor's version goes, i think it enhances some songs, especially regarding the vocals (i know places, wonderland) but for some it sounds a bit off and robotic (wtny and style come to mind...). for an album i listened to so much, i think it's pretty spot on tho. and i appreciate the stronger vocals! onto my fave, red :)))
welcome to new york: has this one always sounded so robotic or is it the tv? anyway good opener but thats it for me 6,7/10
blank space: sooo iconic. i overplayed this one so i don't reach for it much but it's so good 8,3/10
style: soooooo so good. unfortunately i think the tv is a bit worse than the original, but this still is one of my all time faves 9,2/10
out of the woods: song of all time!! the bridge goes crazy 9,3/10
all you had to do was stay: welp. don't love this one unfortunately hahaha 4,5/10
shake it off: fun! overplayed to the death but i cried during this song in eras so clearly it does something for me 7/10
i wish you would: the production on the tv is so much better than i remember!! this one is not a standout in the album but it's not bad 6,7/10
bad blood: i kinda hate this one hahaha i like the version with kendrick but it's just so meh to me lmao 3/10
wildest dreams: all ! timer ! what a gorgeous gorgeous song, you can definitely see the lana influence and the vocals are beautiful. one of the most haunting moments in the album 9,3/10
how you get the girl: fun song, but i never listen to it 6/10
this love: i love this song :(( and the tv production sounds so lush and beautiful 9,1/10
i know places: the vocals on these one are great!! 8/10
clean: beautiful song :((( it ties in the standard version so well, i just haven't listened to it in a long time 8,5/10
wonderland: i love so many things about this song (the new tv vocals???) 8,4/10
you are in love: song of all time <3 9,2/10
new romantics: i was obsessed with this song in like 2016, and it probably was one of my most listened to songs of that time. so so nostalgic and euphoric :') 9/10
"slut!": "i'll pay the price, you wont" :(. sounds so lush! i love the bait and switch from the title dsjh i stil remember everyone thinking it would be a blank space esque song. 8/10
say don't go: i loooove the vocals. but, and don't hate me, i don't get why it's almost 5 minutes lol. also "the waiting is a sadness"...... lol. i still reach for it tho! 7,6/10
now that we don't talk: fun, but just there tbh 6,7/10
suburban legends: i find the lyrics so weird tbh ahahah but i love how it sounds so much 9/10
is it over now?: i don't like the verses but the chorus makes up for it i loooove love it. not overrated at all. 9,3/10
oh lover. so far it's my lowest ranked album, which makes sense tbh. it has high highs, but i'm not sure if they make up for the general ehhh-ness of the album. i've seen loads of people talking about lover as a transitional album, and it does feel like an album where taylor is not entirely sure where she stands, music wise. onto reputation!!
i forgot that you existed: oof. i really dislike this one, i think the lyrics are very juvenile and it doesn't feel very honest tbh 1/10
cruel summer: perfect song!!! it's the highest point in the album, and even if it's very beloved it's not overrated at all 10/10
lover: i love this song <3 lyrically it's beautiful, such a timeless love song. however! the production sounds fuzzy to me, maybe it's just me tho. i also had a car accident listening to this one so 8,9/10
the man: not a fave but it does help sometimes because i AM sick of running as fast as i can actually... and it's great live 6,5/10
the archer: i don't reach for this one much, but when i relistened to it it hit me right in the heart tbh 8,8/10
i think he knows: it's a fun song! 7/10
maathp: not a fave, and does not do much for me but i like the chorus and the eras association 7,2/10
paper rings: soooo fun!!! 8,9/10
cornelia street: the acoustic version would have a higher grade tbh. but it's a really nicely written song 9,1/10
death by a thousand cuts: i love the melody, not so excited about the production. it's a really fun song to sing along 9/10
london boy: another fun song, i really like to sing along to this one 7,5/10
soon you’ll get better: it doesn't feel right to rate this one (for the subject and the fact i can't listen to it), but it's a beautiful song —
false god: i like the sound of this one, and i would love for a jazzy album, but there's something about the melody that i don't enjoy much 7,8/10
you need to calm down: oh taylor. not really sure what to say about this one. it gets 3 points just because it's fun live 4/10
afterglow: it bores me a little bit tbh 6/10
me!: it's not a good song, but i do reach for it sometimes haha 5/10
it’s nice to have a friend: sweet song! i used to like it a lot a few years ago, i just don't listen to it much but it's nice 7,9/10
daylight: waaah. what a beautiful song. it feels like a triumph, like a change in mindset, which encapsulates lover as a whole. even if you take joever in mind, i still see daylight as a deeply personal song 9,3/10
highest rated song: my tears ricochet, seven and august 10/10
lowest rated song: mad woman 7/10
can you tell this is my favorite album? i do think she reached an all time high with this album, especially with her lyrics and the universe of it all. and i think her, jack and aaron got into a very magical artistic synergy. so many of these songs are perfect or almost perfect to me, and there isn't any i dislike. folklore you will always be famous
the 1: i love this one... imo it's her best track one, and it's such a good introduction to the themes of the album (longing, conflicts, the what-ifs...) great song!!! 9,5/10
cardigan: beautiful track. i don't love the cardigan line, but the production and the bridge make up for it 9,8/10
the last great american dynasty: i like this one! i was bummed i didn't get to see it live. it's a fun track, but doesn't stand out for me 7,5/10
exile: i love the bridge and i think bon iver and taylor's voices sound gorgeous together, but that's about it 8/10
my tears ricochet: wahhhhh i love this song. lyrically, it's one of the highlights in the album, and some of the images and metaphors are just mindblowing to me 10/10
mirrorball: very relatable song <3 i love it 9/10
seven: i get full body chills when listening to this song. it's my favorite in the album, and i love everything about it 10/10
august: oh august <3 i think this is pretty much a perfect song, it starts strong and remains at an all time high! and the performance is wonderful as well 10/10
this is me trying: this song just takes me back to 2021... bad bad times. 9,1/10
illicit affairs: even though the best part of the song is the bridge, the build up in tension with the verses is really nice, as well as the fact that it ends abruptly. the live version tho!!! one of the best parts of eras 9,5/10
invisible string: this one is cute and some lyrics are nice but i don't like the grammatical construction of the verses 7,3/10
mad woman: does nothing to me personally, idk! 7/10
epiphany: i don't listen to this one often because it makes me feel really sad tbh, and the pandemic is not a time i wanna return to. but it's a really beautiful track 8,7/10
betty: what a song <3 when i first listened to it i cried lol 9,4/10
peace: this song is really romantic <3 to me <3 i also think it's very well written and i looove the guitar on this one 9,5/10
hoax: hoax is The song tbh... taylor doesn't generally write cryptic songs so this one is just so... also i have so many thoughts about hoax being the last song on the album 9,7/10
the lakes: sounds so beautiful, and some lines are truly magical but some of them are corny to me lol 8,4/10

oh evermore how i love you so <3 it's a great album, it might have the best production out of all the albums. even though i am a folklore girl at heart, evermore is quirkier and darker, and i would die for a long pond studio session tbh. evermore always hits during the winter and i'm pretty sure it's gonna be high up in my ranking
willow: it's fine! i like certain parts, but it doesn't stand out to me, sadly 7,7/10

gold rush: another all timer! the production on this one is wonderful, one of jack and taylor's best 9,4/10

tolerate it: i didn't like this song at first but i get it now <3 9/10
no body, no crime: eh. i don't hate it but i wish she would've leaned more into the country-killing-a-man-vibes. it feels a little flat 7/10

long story short: relistening to it i thought i would dislike it but it's kinda cute tbh <3 7,5/10
marjorie: this one reminds me of my grandpa <3 i will never get over the fact she sings it live every night, i sobbed like a baby. it gets a ten because of how it makes me feel 10/10
closure: karlie kloss smack cam 7,2/10
evermore: the bridge and outro are beautiful. 8,5/10
right where you left me: i know this one is gonna click for me eventually but it doesn't do much for me, i don't hate it but everyone seems to love it and i just. don't get it. oh well 7,6/10
it's time to go: it's just boring to me and i never listen to it :/ 6/10
this one was so nostalgic! it took me back to autumn 2022, it really was the soundtrack of that year for me. i also realized i really like midnights! it feels very consistent and tight, even if it's long (maybe i'm just comparing it to ttpd). even if some songs are just meh to me, overall it's a good album. i don't have many thoughts about it tho!
lavender haze: not bad, but not really my thing. i kind of disliked it on a first listen and now i just don't reach for it much, but it's not bad. 6,8/10

midnight rain: i hated this one on a first listen but now i actually like it, i love the story it tells and i think it's one of the main tracks of the album. 7,5/10
question...?: oh question <3. i don't love this one even if at some point it was very relatable to me 4/10
vigilante shit: is it a very good song? not really. do the lyrics make me cringe a lil? yea. but it slaps, and the live version is so fun. 6/10
bejeweled: i'm not a big pop person but i love this track ajhdf it's fun, a little silly and the production is great, very quirky! 8/10
labyrinth: it's a very personal song to me tbh... as someone who's very anxious this song feels like it came from my brain. 9,2/10
karma: reminds me of my eras show! very uplifting, makes me think of my exfriends. i do keep my side of the street and they wouldn't know what that means <3 9/10
sweet nothing: sweet nothing get behind me!! i love this song, i find it super sweet, and even if her relationship ended it doesn't mean all the songs written for it are toxic or whatever. 9/10

I’ve been trying to figure out what my list of ‘favorite to least favorite TS albums’ is now that I’ve listened to Folklore incessantly every day since its release and I think, for now, it might be:
1. Folklore (I cannot, I’m obsessed)
2. Reputation (this was very hard. VERY hard, I also love Red so so much)
3. Red
4. Lover
5. Speak Now (Lover/Speak now was also torture to decide)
6. 1989
7. Fearless
8. Taylor Swift
It changes all the time, but right now, this is probably it.
