Em stormed into her house, slamming the door behind her. She was angry, as if it wasn't obvious. She stormed up the stairs and into her room where she slammed that door too. Her school bag was flung off her shoulder and onto the ground as she plummeted onto her bed. She stared up at her ceiling, breathing heavily with anger as she felt her phone go off in her pocket.

Sighing, she answered, "Yes?" Her irritation was evident in her voice.

She heard Luke sigh in the other end, feeling guilty for taking her anger out on him, "I knew something was wrong earlier. You okay?"

"No. My parents are pissing me off."

"What happened?" He asked softly.

Em sighed, "They're making me stay home to babysit. It's Friday night, I want to do something." 

"You know, I could always come and help you babysit." Luke said, the smirk on his face being heard in his voice.

Em laughed softly, "Yeah, don't think that's gunna fly with my parents."

"What? Why not? They love me!"

"They aren't going to let me have a guy in my house while I'm home alone, especially you."

It was quiet for a bit on both ends of the line, until Luke let out, "They don't have to know." 

Em thought about that for a bit with a small smile on her face, but then it faded, "I don't think so."

"Why not?" Luke whined in her ear.

"Do you know how much trouble I'd be in if they found out you were over?"

"So they don't find out. I'll leave an hour before they are supposed to be home."

"I don't know, Luke." Em sighed.

"I've gotta go, I'll see you tonight." Luke laughed.

"Don't you dare show up at my house."

"I love you." Luke giggled before hanging up.

Em shook her head, sighing as she set her phone down.

That night, as Em was baby siting, Luke did indeed show up. The knock on the door drew Em from her movie she was only halfheartedly watching. She headed to the door, expecting who it was.

"Luke." She whined as she opened the door. He pouted out his lip, widening his eyes as if to make himself look as innocent as possible, "You seriously showed up." Em shook her head.

"Well yeah," Luke grinned, "Come on it'll be fine. I promise."

Em huffed, rolling herself and walking back into her house. Luke followed, shutting the door behind him.

"Where are the children?" He asked, looking around.

"Asleep. It past ten." She sat down on the couch, Luke following.

"What time is your parents coming over?" He asked, scooting closer to Em.

"Not until one." She grinned, Luke now straddling one of her legs.

"Perfect." He leaned down and kissed her softly. Em smiled into the kiss before slowly pulling away.

"Luke." She warned, "You can't just come over and try to make out with me." He laughed pulling back.

"Obviously not. I came over for the pizza and video games." They giggled; Luke sighing before adding, "What are you watching anyways?" He asked, resting his head on Em's chest.
