I'm not the previous crackship anon but I am that one fan who usually comes up extremely out of left field *poly* ships, so now I need to know if you have entertained any of those before (besides driftwood, which is really not left field imo they're neat and work very well together)
(Itâs absolutely low hanging fruit and not left field and I donât understand why there are like 18 fics in both the / and & tags for the three of them)
I sure have!!!! I have come up with a CRAZY D12 adult poly ship that would probably get me canceled if I ever wrote for them (not my fault that Mrs. Mellark/Asterid/Hazelle would be unhinged and bad and also deeply compelling). and while I donât particularly enjoy shipping Plutarch with anyone necessarily I think that thereâs potential there with like. him and Haymitch and Coin. it would be amazing. three people that loathe and distrust each other all in a room and somehow they end up orbiting closer and closer and then weirdly fucking about it. and then the war ends and obviously Coinâs dead but Plutarch and Haymitch are like đ¤ˇđťââď¸ we still hate each other but donât have anything better to do! I think it would play really nicely into their self loathing tendencies (Plutarch has them. they are there under the surface)
otherwise I think another one thatâs a little less left field but would be interesting is Cashmere/Enobaria/Annie. theyâre very different but they also have a lot in common and thereâd be a lot of differing tensions there that could be fun to explore
