“You got that for me, wow…thanks Sockhead!” A wide grin grew on Eddy’s face.
The generous offer wasn’t too much of a surprise coming from Double Dee, yet it still baffled Eddy. He knew at some points he wasn’t entirly nice to him but Eddy would try his hardest to keep Edd around. He was one of those people that Eddy could trust, he was his shoulder to lean on when he was feeling down. His best friend.
With the same grin on his face, Eddy leaned closer to Edd and pulled out a few items.
“Here, I got you a nice purple sweater, cause you’re always complaining about how cold it is this time of year– and to go with that, I got ya a big tasty jawbreaker!
Merry Christmas, Double Dee.”
“You’re very welcome, Eddy.”
His gap toothed grin expands ever more as his gifts are not only accepted but also the fact that his friend had surprised him and returned the favor.
His tone melted as soon as Eddy shown him his gift. He was touched.
And so....proud! Not only had Eddy listened to him, but he actually managed to think of something that would make Double D happy. The taller of the two took the sweater and the candy and with gentle care pressed the warm attire against his chest.
It wasn’t like Eddy to be so....unselfish, but you wouldn’t hear Double D complaining. This had to be one of the nicest things Eddy had ever done for him.
“This is so thoughtful and generous. Thank you. I’ll make sure to take very good care of it.”
