To say there's disdain, even for a brief moment, on Evelynn's face would be an understatement. There she is, clutching onto her iced coffee (and how lucky she is that her claws didn't poke holes into it) as he swoops next to her with that (admittedly) charming grin.

It takes all that's in her to not twitch her brow.

Trueshot of Nova Cronum had been around long enough to know the ins and outs of being a neutral in a great big war. He was a dangerously proficient marksman, and considered one of the most notorious Mercenaries to ever live. He was practically legendary among the group: it was rumored that he never failed a mission, that he had served as an assassin, armed guard, and repo man for big-name clients on all sides of the war, and that he was so quick that not one gunner could pull the trigger before he shot them dead. He wore the black badge with pride, was loyal to the Mercenary's Creed, and he wore his smile everywhere he went, no matter the situation. Despite the intimidation carried by his name, he was a kindly old soul though and through.

Let’s go with Trueshot!

Having been a mercenary for the majority of his life, Trueshot’s a mech many philosophies. One of the most important to him was: “Fate comes down to the flip of a coin. The sides are ever-changing: it can be good-bad, bad-bad, or good-good. Even if you think you know what they read, you’ll never know for sure. That’s the thrill of living: you never get to know what fate’s got in store for you when the coin flips, but you best believe it’ll flip again. Who knows what the outcome will be next time?”

The mech who would inspire Drillburst to join the mercenaries would also become his mentor, by the name of Trueshot. He saw the KRAN and how much he had been hardened by the war, and sympathizing with his need to get by, he offered the black badge to him. After Drillburst became a mercenary, Trueshot would teach him marksmanship and sharpen his combat skills, turning the miner into a formidable fighter. Apparently being Trueshot’s pupil was an incredibly high honor, Drill would realize, as the mech was one of the most prolific, experienced, and deadly mercenaries in the entire organization.
