I surprisingly don’t have any sympathy either. I… don’t know. He’s not as bad in canon as he is sometimes portrayed on tumblr, but I’m not… I don’t know. I have sympathy for Gadreel. Not for Luci. Love him though. Lots.

There is a reason I like the way you play Lucifer very much. It's because you make him mean. You don't make him see the error of his ways because he doesn't seem to think he has many errors. And even as he loves Nick, it's an unhealthy love. It hasn't gotten much healthier despite it's lessening of physical violence. It's almost an obsession. Would keep him alive until he was tired of him just because he couldn't take him dying.

I didn't watch much of season nine, but I also have sympathy for Gadreel. But that is because he is not Lucifer. From what I have seen about Gadreel, he was tricked into letting Lucifer in the Garden and he was treated with much injustice for that one mistake. And the thing with Sam, he shouldn't have done that necessarily, but he did try to redeem himself because he did realize he'd done wrong and tried his best to right those wrongs even if he couldn't.

He killed numerous people (including children I think) with Nick’s own hands. For a father, it’s something that marks. Or just for a man in general. Already, using Nick as a vessel was already a torture. So imagine everything he put him through after

and then there's also the other vessel to talk about. Sam. Here's what I'm the most likely to get eaten alive for. People say he was good to Sam. That he cared because he was the true vessel. NO HE ABSOLUTELY WAS NOT GOOD TO SAM. NOT EVEN ONCE.

Does no one remember the first time he appeared to Sam? Sam said, "I'd kill myself before I said yes to you." And lucifer said, "I'd just bring you back."

I'm not sure if this is what most people believe, but from the looks of it, most people drastically misinterpret his meaning there and think Lucifer said that because he cared about his well being and his life and wouldn't want him to die because he loved him.

Lucifer hates all humans he makes no exceptions. He was basically saying, You can kill yourself as many times as you like, but I will always bring you back because I am taking away your free will to decide what you want. You literally have no choice but to say yes or I will continue to psychologically abuse you until you do.
