Part of an art trade with @trsilvers! I’m afraid of jinxing it, but my old tablet is working like normal; my guess is it’s the drivers.

I wanted to take a moment to let everyone know that I will be closing commissions for a while. I am certainly grateful, honored, and flattered that so many people have reached out to me with requests and inquiries about future work, and I cannot thank you enough for your interest and your business.

My sole reason for doing this is that I am finding myself stretched a bit too thin lately. Between commissions, my regular job, and the non-Pokémon commissions I do on my main art account, I haven’t had that much time to do as much of the fanart I want to do. This past week (as you’ve probably noticed from my posting) I had finished all my work and have had more time to work on my own stuff.

I’ve been able to take steps to try and improve myself (like practicing better backgrounds), and post more often, and I realized how much I miss having that much time to draw art of the characters that I love and get better while doing it.

I know it’s a bit selfish, but I feel like it will be better for me as an artist and content creator in the long run. It’s easier for me to develop myself while drawing what truly inspires me, so I’m just going to focus on me for a while before I start doing paid commissions again.

Thank you for understanding 😁 In the meantime, I look forward to producing more TR fanart and interacting with you all.

I'm hitting a brick wall on this current chapter of my fanfic. I've been stuck on it for about two weeks, and it's crazy because I know exactly what needs to happen in this chapter, I just can't make it work. xD
