ok i could definitely see all of these for them (i need some explanation on what psychedelic aerobics is bcs im currently assuming it’s like, doing gymnastics on lsd… which does feel on brand for lydia tbf) but the circus one had me thinking
bcs if you think about it, kori has major emcee energy, i could absolutely see her running the circus like the navy. and lydia i could see as a contortionist, but she makes her act very ‘weird’ in an almost spooky way to keep people from being weird and sexual about it… except kori, who would’ve been anyway
i could also see suzie being part of the circus, maybe as a trapeze artist

historical AU: A++++! I love a good historical AU, especially if it’s well-researched! I’ve written a few, but mostly oneshots (and somewhere I think I have some half-assed notes for a West Wing AU set during the early 1900s during the women’s suffrage movement, where Amy, CJ, and Andy are members of NAWSA) and I’m not sure if I have the time or attention span to commit to writing a big one, but I love them and the people who write them are fandom treasures
Canon divergence: A++++++ as well! Love a good canon divergence, they’re so FUN and the possibilities are endless
Crossover: A+++++++++++ I used to write crossovers with Downton Abbey and Once Upon a Time, I WILL write those TWW and ER crossovers, I NEED ER characters to meet the Pitt characters, give me all the crossovers, I love playing with characters like dolls and seeing who would get along with who.

Sex Pollen: A++++++++++ top of the Tier A/U. I will read sex pollen of ships I don't even like. FUCK, I will read Sex pollen of Eddie Diaz fucking people I do like! I don't care. Give it to me. All day, every day. Bonus if it's got a stench of non-con on it. Mmm. Yes. But also bonus if it's "we love each other and this is just us being forced to admit it. "ALL FLAVORS. IT'S ICE CREAM. THERE ARE NO BAD FLAVORS.
Fuck or Die: A+! Solid A! Also yes. Separately and in addition to Sex Pollen. If it's more Pon Farr like? Or "Fuck or we will kill you?" Allllllll the better. Bullet proof kink. I will also read this about people I otherwise don't give a shit about. I do prefer this one to lean into its natural Dub Con nature, though.
Soulmate A/U: Solid A-. I don't really believe in Soulmates per se, so it depends on how it's written. I prefer when it's messy. There's not just one soul mate, there's multiple. Maybe you can fuck up and erase their name entirely from your arm because of life choices you make. Maybe they die, and their name disappears and another one forms and OH NO. :) Maybe you just have six million names on you because you have platonic, romantic, and sexual soulmates. Messy. I like it messy.

kid fic: B or B minus. Normally I do like them! It’s fun to imagine characters interacting with kids, whether they are their kids or not. But since I work with kids, I’m a little picky on how well kids are written, and unrealistically written kids can take me right out of a fic.
Sick fic: A or B! I love a good hurt/comfort and sick fic falls under that umbrella for me. It’s not something I specifically seek out unless it’s by an author I know well, but I like planning out sick fics (and then not writing them…)
kink fic: B to B plus. Again, not something I specially seek out, necessarily, unless it’s a specific kink I’m looking for? but I do enjoy when I read them, and they can be SO good when done well!

fic trope asks - i would also like to know your rating for a coffee shop AU, and a summer camp AU!
Coffee shop AU--I'll give this one a C. I get the appeal, especially if the source material is something like sci-fi or high fantasy that's completely the opposite of a coffee shop AU, but it's not something I actively seek out to read for myself.
Summer Camp AU--B or B+! I love the nostalgia of this one personally, I've even written one (for Mercy Street, so putting these Civil War doctors and nurses into summer camp counselor roles was a treat) The world-building of this kind of AU is super fun, I love coming up with all the details and the lore of the camp.
I'm curious why F for mafia fic!
there's nothing specific, it just doesn't really appeal to me! i do have to say i've never actually read one so maybe i'm judging a fic by its cover but i think it's mostly because i lean more towards preferring canon or at least mostly-canon universes over AU. so the AUs i do like tend to just be things i enjoy generally, like space AUs - i just like space hahaha. and i don't know anything about the mafia nor does the aesthetic as an AU really tickle my fancy particularly

soulmate goose - mmmm this is a D in that i have never once searched for it and never will BUT there's one particular fic that i found it very funny in. is anyone searching soulmate goose fics??? are there people who are like, oh no angst for me only geese. i'd love to know
rule 63 - B! i love to be served cunt and i love to write it and i think there should be more rule 63 fingering in everything but i'm fussier than usual about the characterisation in it
mafia/spy au - mafia specifically, F, but i have read some absolute banger spy fics (reccing the seb/lewis fic time to kill here and there was a carlando one i read ages ago that was also brilliant!? i'll see if i can find it) so that one is a C i think. i wouldn't go on the hunt for it but done well i'll eat it up
