A tiny guest in the Potting Shed room we were staying at.
Velvet Mites are usually tiny, although a few are over a centimeter long, and are most often active after rain. Adults are predators of other invertebrates despite their roly-poly nature, but the juveniles are usually ectoparasites on insects and arachnids.
I dont have a chance of narrowing down the ID further - it's a very large group.
