Today the rights to the series are owned by Random House. The series was out of print for a number of years, but Random House began releasing a new edition of the books in mid-2003. Julie Campbell Tatham (June 1, 1908 – July 7, 1999) was a US writer of children's novels. As Julie Campbell she was the creator of the Trixie Belden series (she wrote the first six) and the Ginny Gordon series.
