7 years ago today I interviewed to teach at #UCSanDiego. I received an email that afternoon indicating I'd teach Interpersonal Relationships during Summer Session 2. It was my first class as a Californian & after earning my PhD in May 2015. This Autumn I taught 5 classes 5 days a week, 4-in person (with a mask on), at 3 universities, driving to 2 universities a day Mon-Thurs, driving to 1 (home aka #UCSD) on Fridays, and Zooming 1 on Mondays. When the world ended in March 2020, I was teaching 4 courses in-person (obviously) at the same 3 universities. I taught 3 courses in both Spring & Fall 2020. In 2021, I taught 2 courses in both Winter Q & Spring Q. I taught 3 courses both summers.
