Ella, a beautiful town in the Uva Province of Sri Lanka, is just about 5-6 hours drive from Colombo. It is one of the prettiest drives with a constant view of palm and banana trees throughout the way. This is from a short hike up to a place called Adam’s Peak. Apparently the large hollow here resembles a footprint of a human. For some it’s a footprint of Buddha, for some it’s Adam, when he first stepped on earth and for some it’s lord Shiva.
