Raubahn is doing great guys! Just an update. He was treated for ear mites and roundworms and is now SUPER social and cuddly. Before he was very scared and feral. He has become SUCH a goober and loving house cat. As you can see he has really made himself at home. His left arm amputation has not slowed him down one bit. People at my work remind me daily that I “saved him from the freezer!” which makes me cringe. If you do not know the story... I work as a Veterinary Receptionist and Assistant. A few weeks ago an unexpected surprise landed on my desk. A small kitten that was found dumped off on a farm property had a maimed front left leg. The couple who found this kitten REFUSED to help it and the only option they saught was to put him to sleep. I couldn't let that happen. This poor little eight week old kitten needs a chance at life and I want to be able to give it the best possible outcome from such dark beginnings. I was blessed to have assistance with the medical costs of his leg-removal. He went from hissing and trying to kill everyone to now being obnoxiously clingy and loving. He really is a pretty boy. He has come a long way from where he once was. I hope the FFXIV players on my blog get the name reference, too. ;)
