Trinity United Methodist Church, a kid-friendly pumpkin harvest, offers opportunities for families and friends to come together and enjoy picking out pumpkins. Fun activities are also planned for the children, including bounce houses, featured display sets for taking pictures and much more. The event takes place at 4000 NW 35th Ave., Gainesville, Fla., 32653. All of the money collected by the end of the event benefits Trinity UMC’s mission trip. Members of the mission group practice their services around Gainesville and different parts of the world. All in all, the event is both beneficiary and interactive. Students from the University of Florida enjoy spending time here to gather pumpkins with their loved ones. Children are welcome to dress in costumes and spread the Halloween thrill while playing games and posing for fun pictures.
