Moon 15, part 4
Tw: Animal/child injury
Grousekit was bored. SOOOOOO bored⦠it was nice to get some actual milk, but he wanted to play, to see the outside world, so he decided to hatch a plan. A plan to sneak out of camp.
Aurburnkit couldnāt wait to be an apprentice, so he was immediately on board. Cometkit, though, he was more hesitant.
āClemmy said that we shouldnāt⦠what something gets us?ā
āStay here then, bubby! Iāll tell you allll about the fun weāll have and then youāll be sorry! Weāll be the strong tom squad!ā
Cometkit hid in the nursery while Auburnkit and Grousekit snuck out of camp. It felt really nice⦠the sun was on their fur and they played in the flowers of Newleaf, giggling.
It was nice until the sun seemingly disappeared, at least, thatās what Grousekit thought happened until talons dug into his shoulders and he was being lifted off the ground.
Auburnkit bit and held onto Grousekitās leg to try to stop him from being lifted into the sky, but the eagle just lifted him as well.
They were going higher and higher⦠thereās no way theyād be able to-
SQUAAAAACCCK!
The eagle and the kits plummeted down towards the ground, and Grousekit saw Trinity pinning the bird down before he killed it with a single bite to the neck.
The bird let go of Grousekit, who was feeling woozy from the blood loss. Auburnkit had the wind knocked out of him, and he was scared he was going to dieā¦
But they were safely brought back to the nursery, and Grousekit was given cobwebs for his wounds.
Meanwhile, Cometkit looked at the two of them, very unamused. Maybe he was right.
Grousekit survived an eagle attack, with the claw-wounds as evidence.
