I’m announcing my new project, the Trinity AU.
After she was released from the pod, Rebecca attempts to break the tape to get rid of the Colton Anomaly. However, for reasons that are not yet clear it steals the tape and runs away. Rebecca and Riley leave the Hameln facility and go into hiding in a different town. There Rebecca is able to recover, but as she adjusts to living her life outside the tapes she realizes that the Colton Anomaly is still following her, and that she’s not alone in her own mind.
After an incident where the Colton Anomaly is seen openly in public, Hameln (or what’s left of it) learns about Rebecca’s escape, and sees this as a new opportunity.
This will have Rebecca as the main protagonist and take place after the events of ATA 3, with certain chapters being flashbacks. It will be written in first person mostly from Rebecca’s perspective but will have other characters perspective as well.
I’m not sure when I’m gonna be able to start posting the fic itself. I want this to capture the same sort of mystery that the original games had. Because of that I’m going to develop the story as much as I can before I post the first chapter so that I won’t feel the need to change anything major and can add hints and clues and symbolism and all that stuff. Until then I will be posting art, character designs and talking about how I’m choosing to write certain characters (and include hidden clues as well ;)
