Little Ms. Commitment-phobia has real issues when it comes to love. She’s been screwed over in love, and her first love turned out to be seducing her to keep her with HYDRA. It takes a lot for her to open herself to another person past friendship, and loving someone requires a level of trust that can be terrifying to her. If she does manage to get to that point, there’s still every chance she’ll run for fear of screwing things up, so if you want to be with her, you have to be prepared to be understanding and patient with her.

It is important to be able to take criticism and use it to improve yourself, also very important not to see it as a personal attack (unless the person critiquing you actually attacks you as a person rather than your work, which is obviously not constructive criticism). I have been delighted to find that when I went through the same process again for a second paper, my supervisor noted I improved a lot from my first paper because I took in all the comments and criticism to improve, so, yeah. I found out this year that really does pay off.

There weren't many things that Kate kept from Clint these days. Just as he didn't keep things from her. She didn't wait for him to come back tonight though. Her itch for a fix was worse than usual and she dug in her stash. She checked her phone to see if he was on his way back and he wasn't. Not yet. She opened the bottle of pills and pulled out four, double her usual dose. She popped them back with a sip of water and flopped back on the bed, staring up at the ceiling, hope no they were looking kick in soon.
