For this writer's ask game
This is just a snippet that was going through my head! (Started out as post musing on a thought. So this is more concept writing than a story-story!)
It occurred to me that Billy’s been uncomfortably witness to Agatha and Rio’s intimate moments two times now.
If it happens a third time, Death will dropkick Billy into a different dimension.
Death will retrieve him because Agatha will demand Rio return Billy to Earth.
(Not that Agatha cares for the Teen or anything).
It isn’t any better on Billy’s end either, it’s not like he asked to be in that situation both times.
The first time Agatha as Agnes tied him up and stashed him in a literal closet.
And then Rio exploded Agatha’s front door, and then Rio proceeded to kick Agatha’s ass and it turned weird. He’d rather forget he ever saw Actual Personification of Death lick Agatha’s hand.
The second time Billy thought he was saving Agatha’s life— and then she double crossed him, and somehow it ended with Agatha making out with Death. And it looked like they forgot he was around, and then Agatha died.
“Can’t keep a good witch down. Especially this Witch.”)
It started suddenly when Rio appeared, her face was more skull than flesh.
There was yelling and more yelling,
“Admit it, honey, you’d still hit this!”
Death's growl sounded like a wolf growling in an endless cave. “With a barn door!”
A barn door indeed flew off the hinges and straight for Agatha. If Agatha still had a body, it could have cut off her head. Billy hit the floor. It sailed through Agatha.
"I'm a ghost, honey, nothing you can throw can get me! I'm beyond you now."
"Uh, Agatha, maybe don't irritate, Death!" Billy yelled.
"Sweetheart, I'm Death." Suddenly Rio's hand glowed, and she reached out. Billy expected her hand to pass through, instead Rio had a firm grasp on Agatha's ghostly arm. "Nothing is beyond me."
"WHAT!?" Agatha yelped, outraged.
"Just because I hate ghosts, doesn't mean I can't do anything with ghosts."
There were some pointed barbs after and then suddenly they were...
"Why are you guys suddenly kissing!" And how does one even make out with a skull??? Billy didn't know but Agatha sure seemed to successfully kiss a skull.
Suddenly Rio raised a hand and did a flicking gesture, and suddenly he was... in a void.
"Honestly," Billy said, out loud to himself, "this is better."
