#trich tip

As in, I am in the center of the tornado that is my life.

These last two weeks wee especially difficult, school wise. We lost a day and a half due to snow, and therefore had 5x the amount of work. Plus, with the last week of school, it was project city. (You all should know that, when I don't post, theres usually a strong opposing force in the way.) You may think, why didn't I post on friday? Because we had to watch a friends dog. A little puppy who likes to find trouble. So, i'm finally sorta safe. (Not like I have two book projects to do over Christmas break....)

Anyway, I hope I can post more during the break. I mean, I've got a lot to say, at least.

But, right now, let's talk about my friends. (the few that know about my trich.) I don't know if they plotted, but my gifts have consisted of: Bows, A limited edition tangle, Hair pins, Nail art brushes, and more bows.

I love these guys- they're trying to support me though this, and I don't think I could ask for any better friends. 

But, what made me even happier, is my one friend (who I bought an awkward turtle shirt) opened my present, and proceeded to flaunt it to EVERYONE. We both knew I knew that she knew I had only been able to spend about 5 dollars on each friend, but she made it seem like I had spent a fortune. Sorta raised my confidence a bit, and I'm sure she knew it.

How To: 

Two coats of bright Red nail polish

Apply red glitter polish as needed

Paint tips a metallic pink

Add more glitter

(Because I don't do enough of these.)

NAIL POLISH.

When I was in sixth grade, I was doing a lot of pulling legs/eyelashes/other places. These places is where I pull using my fingernails, instead of my entire finger.

So, what I realized is that, when you pull while wearing nail polish, you chip the polish off.

And one epiphany later, I had bought the most beautiful and expensive ($10 was expensive for a girl who got 10 dollars biweekly) nail polish I could find. My goal was to go the longest I could without chipping the polish. And I did very well not to pull- it was worth the small investment, plus my nails looked amazing and my fingers wouldn't be so sore.

ANOTHER NAIL POLISH TIP:

1.I must (MUST) when eating chocolate chips, stick the first two together and eat them together before I can eat any other chips.

2. I keep a notebook in my purse at all times just in case of a sudden plot idea. I also always keep a single dollar shoved somewhere in the book. You never know!

3. It's not that I don't like exercise- I love it. But the closest affordable gym is 20min away and it isn't safe to run in my neighborhood- limiting my options. If I could, I'd run every day (especially since I suck at it now).

4. I have a little plastic safe of some of my favorite memories in my room. The fun thing about it is that nothing in there holds any monetary value- For example, one item is a little plastic glass slipper. But that is MY little glass slipper, and it holds a lot of memories.

5. I don't use bookmarks. Ever. Either I physically remember the page I was on, or I finish the book in one sitting. I read 112 pages an hour (yes I did calculate that) So I never stayed on a book long enough to need a bookmark.

6. I have a strange obsession with hotels. I'm quite convinced their magical. 

7. I own 6 giant vintage bows. I inherited them from my mother and I have, for years, found ways to incorporate them into my outfits. I do mean giant bows- bigger than both of my fists.

8. I used to play golf- but I was frustrated that I was left handed and all of the people at the driving range were right handed and couldn't help me. I was 10 and using right handed clubs my father found on clearance at the flea market.

9. Golf is awesome.

10. I hated reading until I found the warriors (cats) series in sixth grade. I finished the first book in a week, the second in four days, and the third in two. From then on I loved to read everything.

11. I love girly and boyish things easily. This was evident through my toys-  on one side I had barbies, my little ponies, and unicorns, on the other side I had pokemon, seven pounds worth of hot wheels, and an undying love for transformers (the original series).

12. I collect rocks. I don't exactly remember what they're called, but they're the colorful rocks with words engraved in them. So far I have rocks that say Sassy, Friends,  Imagine, Dream, Faith, and Peace.

13. I sometimes find old time radio shows more interesting than TV. I like the old recordings of Nick Carter, Master Detective, and Box 13.

14. When I was going through a rough time, one thing that would always calm me down from a panic attack was garfield comics. They are original volumes from 1985 through 1997 and no matter how many times I go through them they never get old.

Did I make up for my promise? I plan on posting two things this weekend: My top five chick-flicks and my top 5 novels/ novel series.

I can't give you a detailed post- because I can only type with one hand. I have a contusion on my left wrist thanks to a nice peg in handball. So much for "best goalie ever"! Anyways this week has been hard because I can't write with my dominant hand- it really kills motivation.

But I feel the need to talk to you guys!
