The first day of Senior Year is completed, for Sade and Trey.

Sade addressed Trey’s actions again regarding the “Lamont Situation” on their walk home after school.

TREY- “Hey, it’s not my fault, Sade. I didn’t know he was a new guy.”

Sade didn’t even respond to his excuse. How could he not know Lamont was a new student? There are NOT that many students at Copperdale High!! AND... that wasn’t the point.

When Sade asked Lamont for his phone number, Trey went into action. He sat down at the table and looked at both of them.

“Why are you asking this guy for your number? You don’t even know him!” He spoke defiantly without even acknowledging Lamont was sitting there.

One thing Sade cannot tolerate is Trey’s jealous streak. So, she looked at Trey and brought him away from the table and told him she would do whatever she wanted, and not worry about Monty. 

At lunch, Sade saw someone she didn’t know, and that was just not possible. He must be new, she thought. She needs to intervene, quickly.

“I wouldn’t eat the hamburgers; they taste like cardboard.” Sade said with a disgusted look, however the lunch lady just looked irritated.
