Trevor gets so surprised that he chokes on his toothbrush and drops it on the tile of their bathroom, There's foam everywhere, the floor, trevors chest, a little gets on jamies face when he coughed.

Jamie has to get up to make sure Trevor doesn't die right before he gets an answer. So he's patting Trevor's back and helping him wash down the toothpaste foam.

Trevor says yes when he finally gets his breathing back to normal. He's shaking kinda hard right after Jamie gets re-concerened before Trevor kisses him really well in the next second and starts crying. Jamie would've started crying if he wasn't still processing a lot of things. It hits later when he watches Trevor wake up with drool down his chin, his chain hanging off the back of his neck, and his hair messed up. Then he starts crying.

So, yeah, they're pretty ok. Engaged! So definitely, ok.

They decide to announce the whole engagement in the next couple of weeks, get a little settled, and also apologize for making Jack come to philly for absolutely no reason. Cam makes them buy their dinner, which seems fair.

Trevor makes the announcement on his own channel via a video.

It's 15 minutes long, Trevor just talking at his fans about—everything, really. He's dramatic, seriously, so he plays the pronoun game the entire time. Talks about living with a second person in secret, the trouble of keeping it a secret while being a streamer, how incredibly happy he is to be around. Mostly the streamer aspects, the technicalities, the trust he's putting into the fan base that he appreciates and trusts to support him.

Then he mentions Jamie by name and shows off the nice band on her finger. He gets real smug about it because it's custom with a little "J" engraved on the inside. Like yeah, he bagged that.

Then he tells stories about them, how they got together, and confirms everyone's suspicions. Never in the world has a part of Twitter been happier. "WE WERE RIGHT" trends for a day.

Talks about the one time a mystery person had opened to the door to talk to Jamie in the back was indeed him asking what jamie had wanted to eat for dinner so he could order it. They were lucky trevor didn't barge in like he usually would. That whole incident was a whole thing, lots of new speculation.

He even does a little house tour, walking from his own office with the camera down to Jamie's, where he's editing a video. Calling out to him just enough for him to give a dorky smile at trevor while looking over his shoulders. He's just in pajama pants, it's cute. Trevor tells the camera that.

The video ends with a usual sign off. The videos the most watched on his channel within the next week. It felt pretty good, to be out like that, with his fiancé ( crazy right, trevor still things it's super crazy )

There's a lot of supporters and tons. Most of his fans are in huge support of him and jamie. This obviously comes with the opposite.

A tweet from some random comes out with, "Does anyone think the whole engagement thing is a thing to get more views? Lol, like this queerbait at its finest and yall are just falling for it??? Trevor's been at this whole thing to sell his merch for like 2 years. Why hasn't Jamie posted about it? It's clear he doesn't care about it."

And, ouch, because trevor hasn't been that obvious. Jamie didn't post about it because they'd agreed one video was enough, and jamie hated Twitter with a passion, has encouraged trevor to delete it too, but trevor likes to interact with his fans on there, soo he's always dealt with stuff like that like an adult. ( Ranted to jamie about it till he made him feel better, very nice routine, he'd say. )

This peeves Jamie, though, like an unnormal amount for Jamie's usual chillnes to hate comments. "It's part of the job" is what he usually tells trevor. He gets that look, where his face scrunches up, his eyebrows pinched like he's pissed off.

He posts excessively about trevor for 3 days, all on his Instagram because fuck Twitter, it sucks.

Trevor watching TV in their living room, him sitting with his feet in the pool. It was Trevor, trevor, and trevor just posted to his insta story. It was the most jamie posted all year. Trevor thought it was super sweet until Jamie posted a horrible photo of trevor, and then he had to put a stop to it.

They didn't stop with the clickbait accusations, not until Jamie and Trevor's wedding party photos get released. A couple of months later, jamie and trevor didn't want to wait, just until the summer. Then everyone stops talking about clickbaiting with a fake relationship, to trevor just using the relationship as clickbait. Small wins. Small wins...

Jack tweets out in support, "Trevor's not talking about jamie this much for clickbait. He's just that lame. He's so much worse off the camera."

It's not like jamies not talking about Trevor, but the smile he gets on his face when he's merely mentioned makes his chat cringe so hard.

Every trevor stream now, though, he's got his engament ring on his chain, the promise ring that he got years ago, and his wedding ring sits nice on his ring finger. Shiny gold with small flowers like engravings and a diamond embedded into it. ( still with a J on the inside, that'll always be for trevor. )
