Astonished, Kelsi quietly, then with more confidence, extends an invitation and Troy takes a place behind her, only barely able to work up the courage to wash her hair. Slowly, bit by bit, he works up the courage to kiss the back of her neck, and rub the lather of body wash onto the curves of her shoulder blades. Kelsi returns the gesture, massaging shampoo into Troy's scalp and every strand of his hair and cupping water into her hands to tenderly rinse suds off of his chest and stomach.
Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch: Troy. Once he comes back into his own and regains his footing, he'll sneak up behind her, and slide his arms around her shoulders, presenting her with one of his specialty peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, or a salad, or any flavor of Asian takeout, or tacos from a taco cart, or a burger, fries, and a butterscotch milkshake.
Who was nervous and shy on the first date: Both of them- Troy significantly discouraged by the way his relationship with Gabriella self-destructed, and Kelsi equally wary to dip her toes back into the romantic pond after Jason left her for Martha, and her crush on Ryan inevitably lead to them being nothing more than best friends.
Who kills/takes out the spiders: Troy takes out the spiders. He can't bring himself to hurt them, so he captures them under a cup, slips a piece of paper beneath the cup, and deposits the spider outside, where he watches it scuttle a safe distance away.
Who loudly proclaims their love when they’re drunk: Troy. Though drinking, especially to get drunk, isn't something they do often. Troy is… haunted, and falls easily into a depression when intoxicated.
