I’ve walked past a dumped tree by the railroad tracks many times and tried to convince my wife that it needed rescuing but last week it sprouted leaves revealing it to be a Japanese Maple so today’s mission was to get it and despite a train coming off in the distance we parked on the railroad crossing and hurriedly tried to get it in the hatchback but it was super heavy but we got it in and drove off with its branches dangling and fortunately my neighbor and Joe help get it up the hill where we planted next to the terrace project Joe is building for us #landscaping #treerescue #homeprojects #dayoff @joegulley #gregoryhergert (at Montavilla) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNyu-lmnGOQ/?igshid=wpmzwmw48a4a
