Nudo Adopt

Italy. Jason Gibb and Cathy Rogers set Nudo up in 2005 after buying and restoring an abandoned 21 acre olive grove in Le Marche. It allows consumers to adopt their own olive trees or tea gardens from which they then receive the product (tea or Olive oil) upon seasonal or biannual instalments. Nudo also has it’s own store with a variety of tea, olive products, and more which are all made from100% natural and locally sourced ingredients.

Adopting a tree for yourself: What you will receive: 

On going tree adoption in your selected grove region

Adoptive parent discount of 20% at our Nudo store.

Extra virgin olive oil throughout the year including delivery from your tree.

Steps to Adopting your tree:

Choose how often you would like a delivery of olive oil; 2-3 deliveries  of 100% olive oil per year etc. Quarterly deliveries $92.50 ; summer, fall, winter, spring. Or Bi-anual; spring and fall.

When selecting your grove for your adopted tree it shows a picture of each of the groves. When you select one it gives information such as where it is located, tasting notes, and who works on the grove. 

City Plants.org

Organisation based in Los Angeles whose mission is to expand and maintain LA’s green canopy, promote healthy living. Their main priorities are building on the low canopy residential areas and planting trees. They are working towards creating a healthier lifestyle which combats global warming, and the dangerous green house gases which are polluting the city air.

Provide free fruit trees at tree adoption events, allowing each person to take home one tree each. It ‘s only applicable to LA residents and there is a limit of trees per person, and states that they use be planted in the ground.
