The clock had struck midnight, and though the Professor now adorned clothing as vibrant and red as the ends of his hair, nothing disastrous, or superb happened. As to be expected, it was only the turn of his birthday after all. His houndoom slept at his feet, the pokemon tuckered out after accompanying his trainer for the majority of the day through this ball. It was comforting enough to feel Cinder’s warmth emanating onto his toes.
Here’s to hoping, that the rest of this day would be as calm as this very same moment in the late hours of the evening. Where the Professor tiredly sat among all the other tables at the Rocket Ball.
