🦑 (Headcanons)

Beware . . . it’s a master list

Travis finds himself at the door of Sal Fishers apartment a lot more than he likes to admit. Whether it be because he needs help with homework for a class they share or needs time away from “home”.

Sal is a safe space to him, a haven even. Travis doesn’t have to hide or put up a wall with Sal.

Travis’s sisters are aware of Sals existence, maybe even aware of Travis’s feelings about Sal. They don’t say much about it though. Out of fear of how their father may respond.

Sal is familiar with first aid due to both the state of his face and his own clumsiness, so when Travis does once again find himself on Sals doorstep (this time with bruises and marks) he is not only taken in for mental care but physical as well.

Both Travis & Sal are touch starved beyond belief, Sal thankfully receives the spouts of physical affection he gets from the gang. Travis on the other depends on Sal.

Due to the Kenneth’s being less than accepting of queer relationships Travis and Sal keep there hidden when they first get together. Sneaking away to janitors closets and holding secret hangouts or “dates” has become a habit.

Larry is suspicious snd cold towards Travis when him and Sal begin dating. Overtime they build a bond and Larry trusts Travis more.

Travis explores femininity with the gang, breaking down a lot of his old beliefs and walls.

Travis is very much not used to horror movies; Sal takes them a lot better due to how many’s he’s watched but Travis has little experience with them. Whenever he is scared though he tries to hide that fact.

Both Sal and Travis have little to no experience in dating. Travis doesn’t have much experience in crushing either.

Sal only has silly bandaids. When Travis is in need of a bandaid he usually has to suck it up and take what’s there.

If Sal and Travis had grown up to love eachother I believe they’d cherish moments of normalcy. Sitting on the sofa and getting groceries being some of their favorite moments.

Sal who’s very patient with people x Travis who’s used to being yelled at for dropping cups and doesn’t know how to take the softness.

Larry x Travis Headcanons

🚬 "….I thought maybe if I told you how I feel, things could be different."

Travis & Larry grew up in the same state, in the same town, attending the same schools since their elementary years.

Larry was everything Travis was told to stay away from. The loud music, satanic piercings, and bold expression were clear signs this boy was going to hell.

Travis was everything Larry despised. A bully, uptight, judgmental, and— in Larry’s humblest opinion- annoying.

So when the two found themselves falling for eachother the response was more than unwelcome.

Who could blame them though? Falling for someone that goes against so much you believe in can’t be easy.

- Travis and Larry have similar music tastes, the difference is all of the metal Travis is allowed to listen to is painted with lyrics praising the lord.

- The blonde would often poke fun at Larry for his long hair; when Larry jokingly mentioned cutting it though Travis internally realized how much he’d miss it.

- Larry and his mother went to church for a little while when he was younger but pulled away as time passed. Lisa still believes in god, she just doesn’t have time to attend. Larry on the other hand dislikes the church completely.

- Despite the fact they both loudly claim to despise eachother they get quite jealous when people are interested in either of them.

- Sometimes they do dates in the treehouse, it’s hidden away enough for Travis to feel safe without risk of his father finding out.

- Those dates almost always include eating junk food, playing video games, and passing out beside each-other.

- Larry absolutely loathes Travis’s father and isn’t quiet about it. Everytime Travis is seen with a mark or bruise it takes everything in Larry to not pull up to the Phelps house.

- Larry was surprised to see how polite and well mannered Travis was (and is) with Lisa. Travis was taught from a young age that adults should be treated with the most respect and so when he does meet Lisa he’s the most polite he’s ever been.

- Furthermore, Lisa loves Travis and having him around. She treats him like a part of the family.

- Travis is also incredibly sweet to Larry’s grandmother.

- Larry battles with depression and depressive episodes from time to time. Even though Travis can’t fully understand he’s always there.

- Travis’s mom showed similar behaviors throughout Travis’s life and he uses what he knows from her experiences to help support Larry.

Favorites 4 the SF Characters

🐾 / animal

Sals favorite animals are unicorns (yes, unicorns)

It started off as a joke but then ended as more serious.

Larry’s favorite animals are wolves

(he was an edgy wolf kid /j )

Ashley favorite animals are fish

Todd’s favorite animals are jewel beetles

Travis’s favorite animals are dogs

As a kid he’d always wanted his dog, despite promises from his father that one day he may get one that day never came. Travis sorta resents the idea of getting a dog now because of that.

🫖 / Foods

Sal prefers more savory foods than sweet foods and often eats those quick ramen cups.

Has the worst spice tolerance ever but is always trying to improve it to catch up to Ashley who’s always eating spicier foods.

Larry loves finger foods like nachos or any chip type thing. Frequently eats more unhealthy foods as well.

His mom is vegetarian and he’s always made to try out her new vegetarian versions of meals or foods (dislikes it but always puts on the biggest smile while he tells Lisa he loves it)

Ashley really enjoys cooking and cooks for herself often, her favorite foods to cook and eat are pastas.

As said in Sals, she loves spicy food (she’s a very good cook as well). The group jokes that foods without spice to it are “to boring for Ashley” and although just a joke there’s a bit of truth to it.

Todd’s favorite food is blueberry pie because it’s a comfort food.
