look you can skip over this, if you like. sorta sad posting, childhood trauma, bullying, abuse survival.
ok so not being able to speak is such a cunt of a thing, its so frustrating.
and i just had this thought, randomly after i tried to speak but couldn't that was 'this happened all the time when i was ten, how the fuck did i cope with it then!!'
when i was 10, as the result of intensive bullying I developed traumatic mutism. I was already riddled with da major event PTSD and the spicy ol C-PTSD so I was very much a ticking time bomb of 'massive reaction waiting to happen'. and it did and no one helped me and after i was removed from the bullies (it took 3/4's of a year for anyone to do anything) i spoke with a lisp and a stutter that then would go onto take 4 years of speech therapy to recover from.
Anyway, that's just backstory and it's one of those things that i don't tend to think about nowadays until I am reminded and I cannot stop remembering.
It's frustrating being unable to remove myself from this triggering state because there literally is nothing to do but stay silent, take painkillers, drink tea with honey and hope my voice returns
