I just wanna live in this moment forever 'Cause I'm afraid that living couldn't get any better Started giving up on the word "forever" Until you gave up heaven so we could be together

I haven’t seen the movie, but I just read about how Katherine Ho came to sing a Mandarin version of Coldplay’s Yellow for Crazy Rich Asians.
Lovely voice! =D (Lyrics & Eng. translation back at YT)
Anyway, when I was Googling, I found that her version uses the Chinese lyrics from 郑钧 Zheng Jun’s cover 流星 (Shooting Star). (Used in the 2001 TW series Meteor Garden)
Other than the lyrics (which don’t even mention the word Yellow), his version follows the Coldplay arrangement very closely. (the Crazy Rich Asian version is much different) Let’s have a listen:
Any little misstep, I'll be at your doorstep Talking 'bout forgiveness, giving you my heart back Just so you can break it one more time before I say I gotta stay away
Ishq ka dariya hai behta
Doob ja tujhse hai kehta
Haan meri baahon mein aake mil
The river of love is flowing It is asking you to drown in it Yes, come and meet me in my arms
Another Zude video, and a little spicier than anything I’ve made before 😜 (don’t give me a strike, YouTube)
I know that I make you nervous I do it half on purpose You know I think you’re precious Yeah, I think you're a good person
So why do I wanna blow up your life?
My first full Zude video (thank you @tawaifeddiediaz), plus the MUNA obsession continues :P

……..i laughed. HARD.
Oh, well well well, who do we have here? Iri? Like, the same Iri who regularly makes me choke on my breakfast and shoot coffee out my nose when I read her tags without warning? That one? Hmmm, okay.
uhhhh morgan, what about “do you know what it’s like?” from the angsty questions prompt list (if it makes your fingers tingle)?✨
parentheses (1786 words, rated g, set later in s6) Eddie doesn’t know what time it is anymore. He could check, of course, but it doesn’t really matter, and he doesn’t really care. When it’s someone else’s turn to be here, they’ll let him know. They’ll probably tell Buck it’s time for him to leave too, but making a separate announcement out of it is pretty silly – the two of them are mostly moving as one right now. It’s been that way since they all started keeping vigil, only two people allowed in the room at a time, the other pairs varying every now and then, but Buck and Eddie silently refusing to leave each other’s side.
He looks down at their hands, at where they’re joined against Buck’s thigh, and Eddie wonders how long they’ve been sitting like that. Seconds or minutes, probably, though it also feels like they’ve been holding onto each other for years, so it’s hard to know. They don’t really do this, touch one another in a way that might be described as intimate by anyone who doesn’t know they haven’t figured it out yet, but their interlaced fingers are only a small part of it now. When they’re not here – when two other loved ones get their turn to sit in these chairs – he and Buck are usually curled around each other somewhere else, parentheses cradling something otherwise unspoken. His fingernails often scrape through Buck’s already messy hair and Buck whispers promises that can’t possibly be kept and they stay because there’s really nowhere else to go.
They haven’t talked about the one time they ended up outside, in shadows that allowed them to forget about florescent lights, when tears fell and they could only swipe at them with their fingertips for so long before it became easier to kiss a few away and pretend that comfort was all they were seeking.
“Do you know what it’s like?” Buck asks, nodding toward the bed, his voice low for no reason at all. “Whatever’s happening right now?”
“Mmmm, what do you mean?”
Buck sighs and picks at the starchy blanket with his free hand. “I don’t know. I guess I’ve been under anesthesia before, so I know a little about what unconsciousness is like, but it wasn’t the same as this. I wasn’t this close to—"
“No, you weren’t,” Eddie interrupts. “Not like I was.”
“So does the talking really help? When we sit here and tell stories or whatever? Does it really make any difference?”
Eddie blinks up at one of the cheaply framed landscapes on the wall, one that’s bothered him because it’s tilted just enough to be distracting, but now he wonders if there’s anything wrong with how the picture hangs, or whether maybe the entire damn room is what the world knocked sideways.
deep fic writer ask for you: 15 & 18???
15. How do you think your writing as improved over time?
oh definitely. whenever i read old stuff i always cringe a little bit, not so much over the contents but more over the style & the voice of the fic. i also write poetry & i think that's where my writing has improved the most (& it's also the writing that brings me the most joy)
18. Do you only write when you’re inspired, or do you try and sit down at specific times and write no matter what?
lol i am THE worst person to ask this question to. i'm really bad at setting times for myself to write even though that's how i usually get the most writing done (unless i'm having writer's block). i write my best stuff when i'm inspired but unfortunately that usually happens in the shower or in the car or while i'm doing the dishes
