Maybe this shouldn’t be that funny but I can’t stop laughing at how orcas murder things by launching them into the stratosphere. Half whale, half cannon

I love Nora being all anxious like “What is Ren to me? What’s his purpose in my life?” and then like 3 minutes later realizes “oh yeah that’s right, restraint and impulse control” and sticks her hammer into an electric fence
WHY DO YOU CONSISTENTLY MAKE MY LIFE BETTER WHAT HAVE I DONE TO DESERVE YOU
hey! you seem to have a Lot of Lupin on your blog, so I had a question: I've seen Castle of Cagliostro (loved it) and The Woman Called Fujiko-Mine (not much of a fan). I liked Miyazaki's fun, slapstick, not-super-raunchy-and-violent take on the franchise. What other Lupin content is there that feels similar that I can get into?
If you’re into watching a series I’d definitely recommend lupin part 1 & 2 (although part 2 tends to get a lil weird)! Miyazaki worked on both of the series and you can definitely see his influence. Albatross Wings of Death is an ova that was directed by him as well!
Other than that, the Fuma Conspiracy is a very fun and lighthearted movie with beautiful animation:
And my personal favorite is Bye Bye Lady Liberty! The style is jarring and it’s an extremely bonkers film, but it’s a really fun time and doesn’t take itself too seriously. Heads up: the plot makes absolutely zero sense and it’s slightly edgier than the others here. It’s also one of my favorite animated movies of all time!
Hope this helps!! I’m a little partial to the older movies but honestly there are a lot of gems out there (and a lot of horrors)
Also i might be not the greatest judge bc i personally love the fujiko series and some of the edgier films, but hey! Enjoy!
so I've been meaning to take a looksie at Wide Florida Bay but, contrary to what I expected, there's actually not, like, a core story called Wide Florida Bay. Where do I start? Is the best reading order the one presented in the series list on AO3?
I believe, currently the way I have been informed by readers to read is to start with Nothing Was My Own (Before I Loved You), skip the last chapter of that collection, read Merry & Bright, then What’s Mine Is Yours, go back to the last chapter of Nothing Was My Own, THEN read Say My Name. Any of the others can be read in any order-- Honey in the Pot is basically the inciting event that made Shirayuki leave Tanbarun, With Hands Molded, as Galatea is Haki backstory that takes place many years before the main story, Your Meet-Cute Is in Another Castle is Suzuri backstory that takes place about a year before the main story picks up.
I just finished Akudama Drive and I spent the first 5-6 episodes just having a good dumb fun time but that finale was actually amazing? I got emotional? Wtf this show isn't allowed to actually be genuinely good
ikr, isn’t it great?!
It really feels like a dangan ronpa game, but with the fat trimmed, the counter-cultural subtext brought to the forefront, and (most of) Kodaka’s self-indulgent fanservice inclinations reined in. I’m eager to see what all these spike-chunsoft alumni do next, they certainly started with a bang.

is Blyndeff a pun? Like, blind and deaf, and her epithet is dumb?
This guy gets it
heyyy know of any good places to get modern outfit references? I got in the mood to create a modern AU of some of my OCs and suddenly realized that I haven't drawn a non-fantasy outfit dated past 1940 in like... 3 years
Pinterest is where I get all my refs! Just go on there and type something like “2020 street fashion” or summer fashion or whatever and you should get a lot of good results ^^
finally listened to Hadestown (the Broadway recording) and fuck.......... it's so good
hell yeah it is!!!!!!
