Because same!! As a full time working mom with 2 kids under 6, I do not want to imagine a life where I have to wash another piece of clothing or cook another meal or decide or plan anything lol

The long answer is: König helped/forced Hase to step outside of the version of herself that's always had to be “on”. Always useful or strong or trying to prove something to herself or others.

König definitely responds more strongly to that softer, more vulnerable side of her, reinforcing and making her feel comfortable and so good to reveal that part of her that she never really explored before with anyone else. She has a lot of shame tied up in how much relief she sometimes finds in letting go of that around him. könig sees this in her and fosters it, reassuring that there’s nothing wrong with liking what she’s doing/feeling.

I try not to make the Dom/sub thing TOO overt, more just a sort of natural progression, roles they play without labeling it…but Hase definitely has enjoyed falling into a sort of subspace type state at times, when things were really scary or tough. It’s special for her.

Though to be fair, König/the isolation often is the reason for the anxious emotions in the first place 😭
