Reason:
Micky… somehow… took advantage of Dialla's memory loss and convinced her that they were both cops (rather than members of a culty crime syndicate) and also in love. This somehow worked well enough for their policework to make the papers. He seems to truly care about her safety, but expresses it by continuing to lie to her, and locking her in a car to stop her from going on a mission with him. Also iirc they were engaged. He died without ever telling her the truth. (The "truth" being a shitty twist that came out of nowhere. But still, if we're taking this story at face value, it's a fucked up relationship built on a very weird and gross lie.)

the art style is... very distinct so its kind of hard to draw the characters and actually make them look like the characters
