It feels like everything is standing still... I'm moving no where in my work or finances. I can't help Luke pay for his top surgery and I can't help him get his name change. I know everything comes in time and I need to be patient. But I'm struggling. So ummm.... Change of subject. Luke and I are doing great. We are going to start working out again so that's good. He at least seem more comfortable in his body, he still wants top surgery asap though. But I saw his confidence change a lot in the last year and I am glad that he still wants me to be part of his life and to go with him through his journey. #translove #ftm #transpartner #lgbt #lgbtq

In the future we know we have to do better, especially to keep Princess safe. Princess, for all those amplified reasons why transwomen are more at risk, has to be the one who to get inside first.

Princess: I once saw a theater mom open a can with a fork and I was sooo confused. I get it now. I'm not chipping my nails on a La Croix.

I took the cutest fucking pictures of Princess and the kitten girls yesterday. I want to share them with the world because my girls are just too darn cute. We're at home, in our comfy clothes in those picture. Nothing is polished and everything is absolutely perfect. And yet, I feel like I those pictures are not for the world to see, because they are lazy day at home pictures and Princess doesn't look conventionally fem. Those pictures are mine. They are precious, just like my girls. I will cherish them. And just maybe share them with a select few.

As I pull what I said word for word from memory, without editing them, I realize that the words themselves date the story and I am still not yet practiced enough to catch that while I am speaking.

This means that every time we cross international boarders Princess will have to either present as male or out herself as trans. This is not an issue of the immediate future, since we are travelling to countries that are LGBT friendly and the changes are sooo gradual, especially when it comes to faces. But passports are good for 10 years and there is a good chance that all of us will be going to places that are more conservative. What then? I mean, there are bonuses for presenting as a white male in an international airport, but that is so very unfair to ask that of Princess.
