I’ve been observing and enjoying S.C. Mero’s art and art installations in DTLA for a few years now. I couldn’t resist the opportunity to hear her speak at The Los Angeles Breakfast Club this morning on her clever, insightful and hilarious art in person. She elaborated on Transmodern Art and Magical Realism. She shared stories about her inspiration and ideas that gives life to her work. While it wasn’t easy to be up that early it was very rewarding. The Los Angeles Breakfast Club was a fun experience in and of itself. I sat at the Hollywood with Wendy and her pals. There was singing and exercise and levity in abundance. I was lucky to by one of S.C. Mero’s photo documentation of her art while I was there. I’m stoked!
