Present time is not within mankind's experience Consciousness is like taking notes on a movie. Only the notes are on a program running your life; the subconscious. Which clearly has to make all your decisions and actions as everything you get to perceive with our limited senses is subsequently past tense. Only if our consciousness was somehow able to foresee future could we then consciously 'drive' our 'vessels'. This is not to say that we don't consciously make decisions but simply that you subconsciously steer toward those decisions after making them.
