turning my brain off usually works when it comes to the films but it just seemed so hard this time around haha, regardless hope you enjoy the movie! let me know what you think.

Yeah, I’m thinking of marathon-ing the films over the weekend before I watch TLK as well. Good luck with your exams btw, hope you do well! :)

TFP feels like ages ago! I was still in high school when the last ep aired and now I’m in my second year of uni. Crazy how time flies. Same tbh, I tried getting into RiD but it just didn’t capture me, you know? It's so... safe and simple. Granted, TF is, after all, a children’s franchise but still. There’s something off about that show. I was into the comics for a little while but unfortunately, money and convenience became an issue, (comics aren’t that big in Australia + I don’t really like reading comics online and I’ve fallen so far behind on everything that’s been released). Agreed, the TF fandom on Tumblr has definitely shrunk over the past few years which is upsetting. We just need a new show and we’ll start growing again, haha! Here’s hoping. I still remember when I watched the first film in 2007 with my family, (I was only 11!). Good times.

If you’ve addressed the problem to him and it still didn’t work, it might be time to cut it off and move on. Alot of times people like this are either over-enthusiastic communicators or are selfish/only in it for their own personal enjoyment, and either haven’t learned or don’t care at all about personal boundaries

Yes, very true. I made it clear that I was uncomfortable and he still continued sending messages like nothing had happened. :\

I think what you are describing is an applique? I could be wrong here, but that’s the same difference. 

What I did with the Homura diamonds is this: 

added 1/4″ on each side to the diamond shape I wanted

cut them out

folded over and ironed the 1/4″ over

fused wonder under (double sided fusible interfacing) to the underside of the diamonds, overtop that 1/4″ foldover

and they need fused like that to the pants but I never did do that. =P After that they’re to be handstitched down because fusing is not as permanent as it should be.

Trust me, Uni is actually pretty fun. Way more relaxed then highschool (and for the most part a lot more interesting). Plus lots of cool folks! Hope you have a blast!

Congrats and good luck!! If college there is like it is here in the U.S., you’ll probably like the freedom of the college schedule, meet some awesome people, learn some cool stuff, and have some amazing opportunities! Be prepared to work hard though!
