This year has been one for the books! 👏🏼 With the birth of our tiniest family member at the end of last year, we started 2017 off on a great foot - and I can gladly say it has ended even better. I guess I was “lucky” this year that I did not suffer from any major heartbreak or loss like last year with the sudden passing of my grandmother and an aunt. I was able to focus on myself as much as any stay at home mother of 4 small children can. After countless hours in the gym, meals prepped, and lessons learned I am proud of not only the transformation that has taken place physically, but the strength gained in my marriage and self confidence. Can’t believe my “before” picture was taken exactly a year ago today! When I saw it I honestly didn’t recognize myself any longer. I know I had just had a baby, but I just wasn’t happy. lots of calories for brekky but at least they’re (mostly) healthy. 😁

yesterday i baked some pastry dough thinking it would come out as a really good croissant. it didn’t. but since no one else in my fam will eat them, i am trying to. i ate 2 & a half w some earth balance vegan butter and raspberry preserves. i wasn't going to eat any dinner but i got tempted and had some cheese toast pizza just 2 slices of wheat toast -2 vegan gouda slices -2 slices of peppered tofurky & some habanero hot sauce that my dad's friend makes. i also drank a small lemon lime gatorade. which i regret bc those literally just taste like flavored water & it's gross. total today i consumed 1613 calories 273 calories more than the limit. i wasn't completely inactive yesterday since we went to church as a family and walked a little there & at the restaurant. but it was definitely a way less active day than average. i didn't even walk my dogs since it was raining all day.
