End of Day 30: 1/24/20

Today was a good day. Work is slow due to Chinese New Year but that is cool, it’ll allow me to get caught up on some training.

For the next Customs Broker Exam I have great news! It looks like the will be providing the online tariff schedule. This is excellent! It elimates 3 binders that I have to lug around. It should make it much more efficient and faster to look up answers during the test as well. And I need all the help I can get on that. 4:30 hour test and 80 questions. It’s about 3ish minutes a piece.

I ran after work today. 3 miles. 11 minute pace. I’m getting faster. I have a group meet up tomorrow at the aquatic center. It’ll be my first outside run this year. It gonna be cold!

I also had a Transformers figure delivered today. Got it for $16. It’s a fantastic figure. I’ve not transformed yet but I am looking forward to it. It’ll look nice with the rest of the collection.

Star Trek:Picard!!! (no spoilers). I’ve wanted to see this show for so long I don’t know what I think. As far as first experiences go I loved it. I love that it is happening. I’ve seen it once and will watch again this weekend. There are a few shots that simply took my breath away. The idea of what the story is going to be about I think is awesome. Performances were amazing. But it wasn’t all gold. There was one thing that I was like “really?” and another thing I’m not sure about. But I’m in. It’s a great time to be a Star Trek fan.
