Anyone else here dealing with weird noises or jerking when switching between driving modes? My F-150 started making a clunking sound every time I engaged 4H, and after ignoring it for a few weeks (bad idea), it turned into a full-on grinding situation that made driving stressful.
Initially, I thought it was the transmission itself, but two techs told me the issue was rooted in the transfer cases.
