This book wasn't perfect, the characters were not perfect. Tbh, all good books are. If Was Your Girl by Meredith Russo is just incredibly honest, emotional and VERY important. Read this, then inform your friends and family about it, because it needs to be told. 「ASUS TransBook T100TA」の環境改善
今回は「ASUS TransBook T100TA」というWindows8.1搭載タブレットPCのお話。
Microsoftから直々に出ている「Surface」シリーズとは違い、キーボード部分が しっかりと作られているタブレットPCです。 一部はキーボード部分に500GBのHDDが搭載されていたりします。 また、液晶（つまり本体）部分にmicroSDスロットがあり、大容量のmicroSDXCも対応。 最近のmicroSDXCでも128GBで1万円弱くらいです。比較的安く容量増設ができますね。
…が、そんな優秀なヤツですが、「無線LAN（Wi-Fi）の不具合」がありまして、 無線LAN接続が遅かったり最悪ブツブツ切れるという問題が…。
実はこのタブレットPCで艦これをやってる時にたまによく起こりました。 これで戦闘中に猫ってしまっては困るので対策を施します。
ASUS TransBook T100TA まとめ @ wiki - 現在わかっている不具合
ここの無線LANに関する項目にもありますが、このPCには 「Broadcom 802.11abgn Wireless SDIO Adapter」という無線LANのアダプタが 積まれています。 他にもこのBroadcom社の無線LANアダプタを積んでるPCがあるんですが、 ググってみるとやはり同じ接続不良の症状で悩んでいる人たちが…。
上記Wikiの設定通り試すと、私の場合では改善されました。
それと、これはWindows8自体が悪いのかNTPによる時刻設定がマトモじゃありません。 まずNTPの時刻補正の周期が長すぎるし、そもそも補正がかからないこともあるので タスクスケジューラで数時間ごとにNTP鯖を叩いて正確な時間を取得できるよう 調整します（ついでにアクセスするNTP鯖も初期設定から変更）。
Windowsの時計がずれる / 自動で正確に合わせる小技 (Windows 7/8.1編)
「動画エンコとフリーソフト ぼくんちのTV 別館」さんから。 上記サイトの通り設定すればまず問題なく時刻補正がかかってくれるようになります。 というかMicrosoftさんこの辺りは初期設定ちゃんとして欲しいです（）
これで理想的な艦これ環境になりました。
あと艦これはタブレットPCでできるようになったのでAndroidのドルフィンブラウザはお役御免となりました。 だって電池食いまくるしブラウザ自体がクラッシュすることがここ最近よくあるので。 久々にAndroidブラウザはChromeとなりました。
