Transformation Tuesday! I miss the old life of a cisgendered male child actor, but it’s more fun being a hardly hired transsexual woman-ish. On the left is me right before I started taking a new direction with my life. Things seemed to be swirling around me, I had no control, and everything I loved was dropping out from under me. Quitting my career and dropping my external image was important. Ego death is essential. I started taking drugs (hormones and others), and all previous ideas of what my gendered and sexual self were fell away. I’m living authentically and bravely. So bravely.
