Herbert West Beach Headcanons
1 - Herbert hates the beach. It's far from his lab. It actively takes time away from his research. The drive to find a warm beach takes too long. And sea birds are irritatingly loud. Also, the texture of sand fucking sucks!
2 - Herbert really doesn't tan. Spending every waking moment in his lab has made him quite pale. So, he tends to just burn.
3 - Even though Herbert has his top surgery, he really is just not a fan of going shirtless. The least he'll go with is a tank top but he'll wear an overshirt too.
4 - Herbert gets bored easy at the beach. This tends to result in him using reagent on poor unfortunate creatures that find themselves on the hot shore.
5 - Herbert hates being wet for the most part. Despite this, he likes the feel of the edge of the water against his ankles. He will do beach walks.
6 - Herbert hates making sandcastles. He thinks they're stupid. This doesn't stop him from being excellent at constructing them.
7 - Herbert doesn't really have a sweet tooth. Still, he's fond of snocones. He likes the cherry ones, surprisingly.
8 - Herbert is not afraid to tell partners and strangers alike the nitty gritty medical details of just why sex on the beach is a bad idea.
