I think that if ever transhumanism became more than science fiction that it is vital that capitalism be nothing more than a relic theory of a distant age
because we can not have rich people be the only people who can access augmentations like the ones described in that other post on account of the fact that they're basically lucky

The Singularity and Transhumanism
The Singularity is the point in time (predicted to be from 2029 to 2050) at which a machine intelligence becomes smart enough to improve itself. Once this initial Singularity intelligence is built, humanity as we know it will become obsolete. Humans will no longer have the upper-hand in anything and we will no longer be the rulers of the Earth.
Unless we ourselves become machines.
If we don't improve our own minds, we will definitely lose out the race with machines. And the best way to do this with continued growth, we must add onto it or replace it with computers. If we are to compete in efficiency, we will eventually leave our human bodies to occupy a hard drive.
This transition from man to machine is called Transhumanism.
