Les membres de l'équipuge de ce vapeur étaient ivres, le capitaine était blesse trop gravement peur remplir son devoir et d’autres officiers étalent sous verrons. On dit que ce sont des matelots noirs qui se sont mutinés. Le "War-Khan” a fourni un équipage au vapeur américain.
