#TrackingTuesday…Rat tracks at the local beach with the highest density of breeding shorebirds & gulls! 🐾 A pest to people, rats also pose risks to nesting birds, eating eggs, chicks, & sometimes, even adult birds! This is a huge problem on islands, with many species (especially seabirds) not familiar with these introduced predators, thus helpless against them.
