In honor of Pazuribe finally released chapter 117 Doramitsu, here's some fics I wrote revolving around that timeline.
1. let's fall in love for the night and forget in the morning (E-rated)
Draken and Mitsuya knew, sooner or later, Mikey had to be stopped. All these misdirections needed to be ended. All these waves of anger should be put on rest, forever. Finished. Concluded. They might lose their lives tomorrow. But tonight, while Draken breathed in Mitsuya's mouth and Mitsuya closing the gap between them, there was nothing that matter more than losing themselves in each other.
2. it just ain't living (T-rated, MCD)
They say when you were about to die, you will get flashes of the best and the worst moments of your life. To remind you that your life, whether it was precious or rubbish, was something that had become a part of you. That when you were about to die, you would also lose them.
3. (d)re(a)m (T-rated)
And when you open your eyes, Mitsuya, you will realize that there is the only way to end this. There is the only one way to put a stop.
4. on a fault line (T-rated)
Maybe this was good, maybe this was bad. Maybe this was wrong, maybe this was right. What's good and bad anyway? What's wrong and right in the world they live in? What's black and white? It was all grey. They were always grey and would always remain to be.
5. stains are even worse when you're the only one who can see them (M-rated)
The first night after Draken killed someone, Draken thought Mitsuya didn't know anything about it. He was wrong.
6. fleeting things are beautiful, they say (M-rated)
The first time, Takashi Mitsuya kissed Draken, he cried.
7. I am lost, but not in you (M-rated)
Mikey: You either love Ken-chin or you don’t, right, Mitsuya? You know that the most, right? Having thrown puppy eyes at him his whole life? Following him like you don’t have anything else to do when you know fucking well, he will follow me. The loyal as ever Ken-chin. Mine, until he is not. Mine, until he is yours.
8. How to (Watch Him) Die (T-rated, MCD)
When it happens, don't tell him that this shouldn't happen. Don't tell him that he shouldn't follow you. Don't tell him that this wasn't the path he's supposed to take. Don't tell him that his decision was always wrong because you're the wrong person he let himself be acquainted with. Don't tell him something he already knows.
9. a new day dawns (T-rated)
It had been a while since the last time they did this. Even longer, if Mitsuya took their current state into account. Peace used to be an abstract concept for them, now it was even more indescribable. What is peace, one would ask. And Mitsuya wouldn't know the correct answer.
10. like the wind that flows within your veins (T-rated)
Mitsuya did the execution, making sure it was a slow and painful death. The most suitable for traitors. Watching the light dimmed and eventually put off, Draken thought that Mitsuya might slowly take pleasure in doing it. Impassive as ever, but there was still a strange, almost subtle, pleasantly familiar relief at his action. The way he would relax more, the way he would choose to stay and wait for the exact moment he could pronounce the time of death, Draken knew. Since when, Mitsuya had become this, whatever was this? Since when, this had become the only version of Mitsuya that Draken could remember? Since when?
11. there's no shade in the shadow of the cross (E-rated)
The cold palm, ran over his hot skin like a beautiful promise, before it hooked itself under his knee, pulling him even closer. One powerful thrust with no warning. If this was a punishment, then why did Mitsuya see heaven?
12. should've seen the signs stuck inside my mind (T-rated)
"Nee-san," she starts. For some reason, I can feel the ominous atmosphere from the way Natsumi looks into my eyes as she says the following. "I think, they're criminals." And even if I have a few scenarios about who they really are, I can help to burst into laughter at her bluntness.
13. all scrawled in sand and slipped right through our hands (T-rated)
Mitsuya remembered the beach. Many significant moments in his life revolved around the beach, either they happened there or they had connections with it.
