Merry Christmas from Tom and Jeff!

Hello, @savoy-brown-shoe!!! :D I’m your Secret Santa in this wonderful event created by @tompettyaesthetics! ^-^/ I liked the baking-related prompt a lot and, since I adore making gingerbread cookies a lot, I drew Tom offering Jeff some of the snowman gingerbread cookies he made ^^ I hope you’ll like it!!! <3333

Christmastime with Tom would include:

- Going to look at Christmas lights together (featuring him humming your favorite carols in your ear)

- Hearing him walking around the house singing Christmas songs

- Listening to Christmas music and decorating the house together, him smiling all the while at how much you love this time of year

- Snuggling together on the couch with hot chocolate to watch all the Christmas specials

- You insisting you don’t want much for Christmas and that you’re just happy to be with him, but he can’t help himself and ends up buying way more presents than anyone could ever need

- Tom being sneaky and hiding mistletoe all over the house and then tricking you into standing under it so he can kiss you

- Kisses by the fire

- Kisses by the Christmas tree

- Kisses outside in the snow (the possibilities really are endless here!)

- Speaking of snow, you and Tom throwing snowballs at each other, laughing all the while

- Tom putting a handful of snow down the back of your coat so you’ll hang onto him for warmth

- Getting cold and having to come inside and snuggle by the fire

- Buying matching pajamas for the two of you to wear on Christmas Eve, Tom rolling his eyes but wearing them anyway

- Tom waking you up on Christmas morning by poking you and kissing you because he’s actually a child and can’t wait any longer for presents

- Him shoving presents at you faster than you can open them because he’s so excited

- Watching Tom open up the guitar he’s been eyeing for the past few months and hardly being able to contain yourself at his reaction

- “Babe, how did you know?!”

- “I’m not blind, Tom. You practically melted every time we walked by it!”

- “I love you so freaking much.” featuring the biggest hug ever

Concept:

Person A, B, and C sign up and submit their themes for what they would want to receive. Person A gets a gift from B and makes one for C. Person C gets a gift from A and makes one for B. Person B gets a gift from C and makes one for A.

What can a “gift” be?:

A gift can be just about anything. When signing up you will submit a theme or specific person you want your gift to be about and can even specify (without guarantee) as to a medium you would want it in.

A gift can be:

- Writing

- Art/Drawing

- Videos/Edits

- or however you express yourself creatively!

What are the possible themes?

There’s loose specification here, but some general rules and guidelines apply.

You can combine any from the following

Can include (people):

- Traveling Wilburys members

- Heartbreakers

- and maybe others should they be okayed in advance

Can include (themes):

- Fluff

- Angst

- pairings and ships from the above list

- X Readers

- Holidays/events

- AUs (okayed in advance, but generally accepted)

- Other specifications you want, unless it appears on the cannot include list and even a few I might have forgotten

Can not include

- Smut (maybe some other time, but with triggers and other things it’s easier to avoid the first time we try this)

- Extreme gore

- Remember, this is a Christmas/Holiday exchange, try to keep it lighthearted and accepting

Sign up cuts off on November 26th

Present making is done from the time you receive your person (before December 1st) until December 25th

On the 25th of December all gifts should be given

This is meant to be fun. If you miss the gift deadline, but plan on completing the gift anyways, just let me know and it’s totally fine. We’re mildly flexible.

What happens if my person doesn’t make my gift?:

I will be making gifts during the month of January should anyone not receive a gift. Don’t worry, if you sign up, you will receive a gift!

How do I send my gift?

Post it on December 25th with the hashtag #TPATHSecretSanta and tag me @tompettyaesthetics I will make sure everyone sees their gift and if you don’t follow the tag all of the presents will be reblogged on my blog too.

Can I talk to my person?

Only on anonymous. I recommend that everyone signing up turns on the anonymous ask feature so that their person can communicate with them without revealing their identity.

Cuddling with a sleepy Tom would include:

- Him wrapping his arms around you and nuzzling his forehead into the crook of your neck while you pull a blanket over the two of you

- You gently rubbing his back, and the soft, sleepy moans that escape from him occasionally as you do so

- The two of you talking about your day, him being so sleepy that you ask your questions in a whisper to help him relax and he responds only in soft mumbles and little head nods

- You pressing soft kisses to his forehead as he hugs you tighter

- You playing with his hair, hearing him purr in delight as you run your fingers through the soft, blond strands

- Watching his eyes close as he grows more tired and more relaxed in your arms

- Feeling his breathing slow and deepen and feeling him grow heavier against you as he gives in to sleep

- Hearing his sweet, soft snores, and you know he’s asleep now

- Admiring the sleeping man you find yourself holding, falling more and more in love with him as you look at his sweet, sleepy face and feel his arms wrapped tightly around you

- The weight of his body against yours and the sound of his gentle snoring making you feel drowsy yourself

A winter’s night in with Tom would include:

- An initial decision upon opening the door that it’s far too cold to go out, the two of you preferring to stay inside where it’s warm (and where it’s socially acceptable to cuddle!)

- Not being able to decide whether to curl up on the couch and watch movies or sprawl out in the floor and play board games

- Deciding to do both, board games first

- Having trouble setting up the board because somebody didn’t put up the pieces right last time, and now a bunch of them are missing, leaving you with only enough multicolored game pieces for one person to play the game

- Tom deciding that the thumbtacks in the junk drawer are a perfect replacement for the missing pieces and being so proud of his solution until you tell him he has to play with the thumbtacks, it’s his fault the pieces went missing in the first place after all, and that you’re playing with the remaining game pieces

- You finding it hard to resist the pouty face and puppy dog eyes he gives you, trying desperately to get you to let him use the game pieces

- “I’m gonna prick my fingers!” 

- “Well, you should have thought about that when you put the game up last time!”

- Tom accepting his fate and playing with the thumbtacks, pouting all the while, but you can see the smile in his eyes

- Hearing him chuckle playfully when he’s able to put you back and advance ahead of you in the game

- You cheering when you get to do the same, not noticing his eyes light up and the soft smile that crosses his face at your reaction

- The two of you laughing when he mentions how silly you guys must look right now, two grown adults sprawled out on the floor playing a kid’s game

- The game ending (Tom won, but in his celebration of victory, he took your face in his hands and peppered it with kisses, so who’s the real winner here?) and the two of you settling in on the couch with some popcorn and a big blanket to watch some movies

- Cuddles. Lots and lots of cuddles.

- So much cuddling that neither one of you is paying attention to the movie anymore, both your minds too wrapped up in each other to care about what’s happening on the screen

- The two of you stealing kisses from the other periodically, furthering your distraction from the movie and your interest in each other

- Quick, stolen kisses turning into longer, more passionate kisses

- You looking into his sky blue eyes, feeling safer and more loved than you’ve ever felt in your life, the movie now completely forgotten

When you post your gift on the 25th, tag me as well as the person you made it for! That way we both get notified :)
